General Information

• Field Fee Schedule FEES FOR EACH PERMIT WILL BE DOUBLED IF CONSTRUCTION STARTS BEFORE A PERMIT IS OBTAINED.
• Well Isolation Update from 75 ft to 50 ft
  April 2018 update to the Allegan County Water and Sewage Regulations showing the isolation distance (from septic tanks and disposal areas) for Residential Water Wells from 75' to 50'. 
• Currently, we do not accept online payments. You may pay by credit card (3.5% service fee applies) if you submit your applications to our division email, alleganeh@allegancounty.org, and provide us with a callback number to pay by phone. For security reasons, please do not put any credit card information in your email, only the contact number where you want us to reach you. 
• If you are mailing a check with your application, you may make it payable to Allegan County Health Department (ACHD) and send it to 3255 122nd Ave., Suite 200, Allegan, MI 49010 
• Our lobby is also open 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday.
